Responsibilities: ...-- Attending business review sessions to understand the business requirements and scope of the project; Working closely with the business analyst to understand the stakeholders needs and work on the desired solution. ...-- Development of software to help meet and exceed stakeholder expectation with a focus on quality and project timelines. ...-- Working with testers to ensure a smooth hand off and to help clarify items that need to be tested. ...-- Preparing the testing environments for testing efforts. ...-- Conducting analysis and discovery to resolve BUG; Fixing defects from testing efforts as part of release activity ...-- Documentation on design and collaborating with other developers on the team. ...-- Executing deployment development tasks. Qualifications: ...-- 5+ years as a ColdFusion Developer coding designing and optimizing high traffic, mission critical, applications. ...-- 3+ years creating Object Orientated ColdFusion applications. ...-- 2+ years experience with MS-SQL Server 2005 (expertise in database design and development) ...-- 1+ years of Web Services development using SOAP, JSON and other protocols. ...-- Hands-on experience in Flex and ActionScript is a plus. ...-- Must have a solid knowledge of either Ajax, Spry or jQuery. ...-- Would prefer candidates with a working knowledge of all of those technologies. ...-- Must demonstrate strong skills with CSS/XHTML ...-- Ability to extend existing code base, or develop new, using proven best practice patterns and coding standards. ...-- Design and Implement an efficient solution that meets the functional requirements, is extensible and is easily maintained.
