Our interactive department now needs a seasoned Senior Web Programmer to develop and program web projects, execute internet strategies for web-based interactive projects, websites, product marketing, and promotions, and to manage information transfer and provide technical support for all related systems or projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Collaborate with our creative team to strategically plan the execution of all interactive projects • Develop programming code for assigned web projects based on creative and marketing strategies stated in approved proposals • Test web programming to ensure functionality for active websites • Regularly update active websites maintained by the agency, both by programming code for new information, and updating existing programming code to ensure sites stay functional as technology and client requirements change • Stay current on all programming-related technology trends and innovations, and notify the Interactive Media Director regarding training or hardware and software upgrade needs to keep the agency on the leading edge of interactive design • Inform Interactive Media Director if server problems occur on any agency-managed or maintained interactive properties and assist in helping to resolve all such problems • Bring new ideas and innovations to the table, based on sound research, best practices, and measurable tests REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum 4+ years of programming experience in an advertising or marketing agency environment, or other corporate web development team environment • Expert knowledge of SQL/MySQL, ColdFusion, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS • Working knowledge of XML • Understanding of browser capabilities, user interface requirements, cross-platform applications, site architecture, web metrics systems, and web server hardware • Ability to work quickly and manage multiple projects and timelines • Strong time management skills and resource management capabilities BONUS POINTS: • Experience working in an advertising or marketing agency environment, or corporate web development team environment • Working knowledge of Flash and Adobe Creative Suite • Working knowledge of .NET or PHP • Experience with real estate and development clients |
