| Description: | Job Duties and Responsibilities: ManTech IS&T is looking for people to solve the toughest IT and security challenges facing our Nation today. We are currently seeking talented individuals with the following skills to join our elite team Cold Fusion Developer needed to join DeCA's Corporate System Program Office team. This individual must be able to design, develop and maintain solutions in Java and related J2EE components such as JDBC, Servlets, Java Server Pages (JSP), EJB and SML. Developed solutions shall be web-based running from DeCA's Inter/Intranet web server(s). Data may be extracted from DeCA's Enterprise Data Warehouse (Teradata) or other Relational Database Management Systems (Oracle 8i/9i, SQL Server, etc.) Macromedia MX and Business Objects experience also desired. Primary responsibilities are designing, developing, debugging, and documenting web based applications. Additional responsibilities include: providing maintenance and support for existing applications; providing maintenance and support for the Business Objects query and analysis tool; providing accurate effort-estimates for deliverables; performing feasibility studies to analyze cost/benefit trade-off of system solutions; and following industry best practices. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field), or equivalent education and two plus years of related work experience. Four or more years of programming and analysis experience. Two or more years developing web-based applications including experience with ColdFusion, coding custom tags (both CFM and Java based); interfacing with web services; reading/manipulating XML data structures; coding SQL and stored procedures with enterprise data systems. Object oriented programming experience. Familiarity with the following standard web technologies: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, XML. Experience with Borland's JBuilder, XML Spy and Business Objects considered a plus. Position requires ability to pass a Government background investigation. US Citizenship required.
