| Description: | * (1) Jr Developers 45K-55K + Benefits and Company Bonus Plan * (1) Sr. Developers 55K-70K + Benefits and Company Bonus Plan The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience as a “heads down programmer” writing scripting languages and developing applications for internet service integration. This development shop heavily incorporates the use of ColdFusion. The candidates will assume important roles as new members of an efficient and functioning programming team. Ideally, these developers will have 3 years of experience encompassing the scripting process from code development to product deployment. Database experience with MySQL is essential. Technical writing skills and familiarity working with common network communication methods (HTTP, SOAP) would be helpful. Candidates do NOT have to be CF purists, but they must have significant development experience in one of the programming languages listed in the IT Skill Set Matrix below. Duties: * Creating front-end common gateway interfaces that integrate seamlessly with the back-end database. * Gathering project specifications and providing design solutions * Must have a strong understanding of SDLC, analysis, reporting, and interactive web applications. * Providing secure and efficient code for new projects while maintaining existing functional code. * Testing, troubleshooting and debugging code. * Building web-based inventory management and analysis tools using ColdFusion MX7, CSS, and FLEX 2 * Experience with Oracle 10g helpful IT Skills Matrix:
Requirements: 1. MUST Have a four year degree – IT / Programming / Engineering 2. Authorization to work for an Employer in the US - or eligibility for a TN Visa (no H1b visas) 3. At least 2 years of paid work experience utilizing development tools in a commercial setting 4. MUST be willing to work together with other developers as part of a team in an office environment near Buffalo, NY (5 days a week) |
